The first image below show a sim I did of the Eminence Kappalite 3010LF 10" pro audio bass driver getting down to 30 Hz in a 143 L (net) 8th order BP box and hitting above 116 dB while still remaining within Xmax. Go bigger, and linear output increases too. The second image shows the calculated GD (done by REW).

The large 12 inch 8th order we built as a demo-box for BRL with a 12 inch GAS ALPHA12D2 beat the living daylight out of a 2 x 10 inch BR box with GAS COMP10D1. That is roughly 80$ plus some particle board driven with 2000 watt beating a 600$ bass reflex driven by a 5000 watt amp.
